Command line operations
The Domain Administration Tool also has a command line function, so that scheduled runs can be made with the tool.
This functionality allows scheduled exports of the USERS and GROUPS tabs. Note that all available information is exported, not only that based on current user settings.
Example:
DomainAdmin.exe users \\NORBY c:\temp\output.txt
or
DomainAdmin.exe groups \\NORBY c:\temp\output.txt
The example command line will export the information normally found in the USERS tab, when browsing the server \\NORBY to the file c:\temp\output.txt.
The command line parameters must be entered in this order. If not, the application terminates without creating the file.
WARNING:
The created file is written over any other existing file!
