Servers Settings
 
 
Select the Server Settings tab through the Tools | Settings Menu. The settings have the following explanation. By selecting or deselecting the server property will be (in)visible in the servers TAB. You never can deselect the Server Name.
 
·Server Name (Name)This displays the name of the machine concerned.
·Master Browser (MB)This server is a master browser
·Backup Browser (BkB)This server is a backup browser
·Potential Browser (PB)This server is a potential browser, it can become a MB or BkB
·Time Server (TS)This server is a Time Server
·Domain Controller (DC)This server is a domain controller
·Backup DC (BDC)This server is a backup domain controller
·PrintQ Server (PQs)This server is hosts shared print queue's
·Novell Server (Novell)This server is a Novell Netware Server
·Unix Server (Unix)This server is a UNIX server
·WFW Workstation (WFW)This is a Windows for Workgoups or Windows'95 station
·NT Workstation (Wkst)This is a Windows-NT workstation
·SQL Server (SQL)This servers hosts SQL server database
·Server (Srv)This is a normal Windows-NT server
·AFP (AFP)Apple File and Print services (?)
·Domain Member (Dmem)This server is a member of your current domain
·Dialin Server (Dial)This server allows RAS dialin
·NT (NT)This is an Windows-NT system
·MFPN Server (MFPN)Microsoft File and Print service for Netware
·NT Server (NTS)This is an Windows-NT system
·Domain Master (DM)This is the domain master ( unknown )
·OSF Server (OSF)An OSF system ( not tested )
·VMS Server (VMS)An VMS system ( not tested )
