The Import File
 
How to create one:
We strongly advise to first export information from the users or groups tab. Open this file in a text editor or spreadsheet. Update or Add the information you want to import. Be sure to only include support columns ( see below ). Save the file and close it. Now you can import the file with the Domain Administration Tool.
The Column headings are CaSe sensitive !!
 
You can Import the following columns for Users:
·UserNameUser name
·Full NameUsers Full Name
·DisabledUser disabled property
·ProfileUser profile
·ScriptUser script
·PW ExpiresUser password expires property
·cPWDnxtUser must change password at next logon property
·nocPWDUser cannot change password property
·DescriptionUser description property
·DriveUser home drive ( drive to map users home directory to)
·HomeUser home directory
·PasswordUsers Password
 
You can Import the following columns for groups:
·GroupNameThe group name
·CommentThe group commet property
·UserNameThe name of the user to be made member of this group.
 
The UserName column either contains a valid user id or the following reserved name:
AAGROUP_CONTAINER to create a global group
 
If you don't use the UserName column the Domain Administration Tool will create a global group. If the group already exists, the information for the group is updated, and any users to be added are added.
