Filtering TABS
Some TABS will show a huge amount of data, but you anly wnat to know specifics, e.g. what users have the default script, or which events have a warning status. With the filteirng fucntion you can easly perform this analysis on the displayed data.
If you select the filter fucntion form the toolbar 
or from the edit menu you get the general filter dialog:
You can even filter on specific columns and configure your filtering behaviour ( cases matching etc. )
